1775-1779 Continental Currency! Very Good To Fine Condition. Scarce!

Even before our independence, the Continental Congress had authorized the printing of our first currency. There were eleven separate issues dating from May 1775 to January 1779.

Each issue included several different denominations ranging anywhere from $1/6 to $80.00.

These notes were hand numbered and signed, often by very prominent people of the day including signers of the Declaration Of Independence. Such notes can often bring hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

The very first notes were printed on paper supplied by Benjamin Franklin!

Issue date and denomination are our choice.
