A special 35th Anniversary tribute to the undisputed "King" of rock and roll and the first ever concert to be beamed around the world via satellite television.
We lived in Brussels, Belgium at the time, and I remember my dad pointing his 8mm film camera at our tv to record this historic event! (there were no VCRs yet!) Being beamed live via satellite was a REALLY big thing then!
Officially authorized by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
While Elvis performed a number of his older hits and recent popular music selections, the show is probably most remembered for Elvis’ show-stopping performance of the “An American Trilogy.”
This original design commemorative cover features images of Elvis in concert at the Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Included is a U.S. Silver Eagle legal tender coin specially color-enhanced by The Morgan Mint and
showing Elvis in his American Eagle jumpsuit.
Contains One Ounce of Pure Silver!!!
