This collection contains the three Bicentennial Coins and the golden hologram $2 Bill! As part of the historic celebrations in 1976 to mark the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Mint struck three special one-time-only circulating commemorative coins. They were the first commemorative coins issued for circulation, and this collection brings together all three of these rarely seen coins: Washington Quarter, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Eisenhower Dollar. Each coin features the dual date “1776-1976” on the obverse, below the portrait. They are the first dual-dated coins in each of the respective coin series. Also included is a U.S. $2 bill that features “The Signing of the Declaration of Independence” on the back and which is enhanced with a stunning golden hologram. Together, these four items create a remarkable tribute to American independence.
